Since opening in 2017 the Studio has earned a reputation for thought-provoking creative events, giving participants the space and time to develop and discuss their work with like minded people. Throughout everything we do, we’re motivated by our passion to share creative practice and live a creative life here at The Lund.

The main studio is housed in a converted dairy, a large open space flooded with daylight. The surrounding grounds are 15 acres of our own fields, meadows and woodland. Plenty of opportunity to find some space to think, to gain inspiration.

Our most recent venture has been to upgrade one of our outbuildings to create ‘The Drawing Barn’, with an expanse of wall and floor space for bigger, bolder, messier works.

Everything we do here at The Lund is with the aim of creating an environment that feeds the creative spirit. We hope to have the opportunity of sharing it with you…

Steve works behind the scenes here at The Lund, looking after everything from web-design to prepping course lunches - using our own fresh fruit and veg whenever possible…

A small team (!) means we are able to keep course costs as low as possible so as to be as accessible to as many people as possible: Our knives and forks often don’t match, some of our cups may be chipped and we don’t have branded aprons ;-) What we DO have is a programme of inspirational courses and events run by the most amazing artists and makers!

We look forward to seeing you here at The Lund!

“You do a tremendous job at Lund! I know it's such hard work but places like yours are very special and necessary . You touch lives! Can't put a value on that.”
